Adjunct Professor: Engineering Project Management

Kevin Meredith is obsessed with innovation. Not just the buzzwords and shiny stuff that catches most peoples' attention. He is particularly focused on the grimy and tough things that are often overlooked when converting creativity into value and delivering impact at scale. He got hooked on innovation while working at The Boeing Company where he was charged with helping find emerging practices and opportunities to enhance the company's rich heritage of innovation so that it could continue to push the boundaries of human achievement for another hundred years. After leaving Boeing he started multiple companies, all of which share a commitment to accessing and advancing innovation and entrepreneurship within for-profit, non-profit, and government organizations. 4th Sector Innovations has garnered most of his attention over the last decade helping organizations establish and enhance their innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities using the 4thSI Integrated Innovation System and Cumulative Value Realization Curve. The company has partnered with universities, cities, and corporations to deliver the global InterPhase Incubator and Instantaneous pre-Accelerator programs and helped more than 200 early-stage ventures with no fee and no dilution. For the last five years, he has become directly engaged in channeling innovation on the circular economy. Kevin is the Innovation Leader of the Circular Supply Chain Network; a self-professed group of global supply chain and circular economy geeks that are committed to accelerating the realization of benefits occurring as we transition from linearity to circularity. All his free time is spent finding new adventures with his wife and three kids, delivering keynotes, serving on boards, being an entrepreneur-in-residence at multiple universities, lecturing and teaching as an adjunct professor, and being an author. He has written extensively about innovation, entrepreneurship, risks & opportunities, and the circular economy. The book that he is most proud of creating is Destination Innovation. His academic background is from the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) where he earned my BS and MS in Industrial Engineering. After gaining more than a dozen years of professional experience he obtained an MBA in Entrepreneurship at Pepperdine University. Kevin believes that innovation and entrepreneurship can elevate human potential, and he is committed to helping everyone seeking to produce meaningful value and create the amazing future we all deserve.
