A: What does your new hire rotational program look like?
Please find below the responses to this week’s IRI Community Forum Survey. Thank you to those who took the time to add their input!
From the member who submitted the survey: We are looking to develop a plug-and-play rotational program for new hires with undergraduate degrees or higher. We’d love to hear your approach to rotational programs across R&D/innovation, supply chain, engineering, and IT departments.

Other:
- In Research, Masters is required; In rest of Engineering/Supply Chain, Bachelors is required. New hires apply for the program while in school and join upon graduation.

Other:
- Intense technical training
- depends on their interest and need. There is no standard.
- The honor of being part of this rotation program, which has no peer in the engineering world
- Certifications are available at any time.
Do you have other programs in other regions (e.g. India, Brazil)? What do those look like?
- India, Mexico, Europe – similar as USA
- All manufacturing sites are in the US
- Poland, UK, Aussie, India, etc. It’s one model.
- Same across the enterprise
- No programs in other regions

Other:
- The program is too new to make that assessment based on a limited number of participants
