RTM: In Their Own Words

Is there a better way for companies to maximize the value of their NPD portfolios?

Robert Cooper and Anita Friis Sommer gave a brief presentation of their multidimensional Value Based Scorecard (VBS), which they developed using proven, research-based criteria. Companies can use their VBS to select and prioritize NPD projects effectively, using a forward-looking approach with real-time and reliable data. Companies lacking effective NP portfolio management—too many projects, difficulty killing weak projects, no portfolio or project selection system, and a low value portfolio for the resources spent—may find Bob and Anita’s dynamic portfolio management solutions helpful.
