Date September 29, 2026 Tuesday
Time 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm ET
Format Virtual Event

Considering SIL for yourself or a member of your team? Join us for an information session to learn more about Shaping Innovation Leaders (SIL), IRI’s premier executive management program offered in partnership with Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

During this session, you’ll hear directly from Dr. Marian Powers, SIL Academic Director and Adjunct Professor of Executive Education at Kellogg, as well as Megan Van Treeck, who supports participants throughout the Kellogg executive education experience. Together, they’ll provide an inside look at the program’s curriculum, learning environment, and the skills innovation leaders gain to strengthen their business impact and leadership effectiveness.

You’ll learn how SIL helps high-potential innovation professionals build confidence in strategic decision-making, strengthen financial and business acumen, communicate more effectively across functions, and expand their influence within their organizations.

Whether you’re evaluating the program for yourself or a high-potential member of your team, this session will provide an opportunity to explore the curriculum, understand the participant experience, and learn how SIL equips innovation leaders to translate technical expertise into stronger business leadership.

SIL is an intensive 5-day in-person program that delivers the management skills, concepts, and tools that R&D managers and directors need to make more effective strategic decisions and become more confident business decision-makers and communicators.
