August 28, 2026 — Balancing Speed, Value, and Sustainability (Joint with Sustainability)
Organizations are under constant pressure to move faster, but what does the “right” speed for innovation actually look like? How do companies determine whether products are moving too slowly, too quickly, or at the appropriate pace for their market, customers, and business and sustainability objectives? From sampling and qualification timelines to shifting priorities, resource constraints, sustainability requirements, regulatory considerations, and evolving customer expectations, many factors can influence how quickly new products reach the market. In this joint session between the Sustainability and Innovation Excellence roundtables, members will explore how organizations define and measure innovation speed, balance sustainability objectives with business priorities, identify common bottlenecks, and discuss strategies for improving agility while maintaining quality, managing risk, and delivering long-term value.
September 16, 2026 — Building Consensus Around Technology Strategy (Joint with Open Innovation)
Without a clear strategy for which internal or external technologies to pursue, when to advance them, and why they matter to the business, even promising opportunities can stall. How do organizations build and maintain internal consensus and buy-in when pursuing technologies from early exploration to execution? What approaches help teams move from fragmented perspectives to shared direction? In this joint session between the Innovation Excellence and Open Innovation roundtables, members will share how they align internal teams around innovation efforts, from defining clear technology strategies to integrating stakeholders into governance processes.
