2021 Research Project: Quality Horizon 2 decision-making governance structures
An update from the Ideation to Horizon 2 Opportunity Portfolio research project.
One of the key insights to Horizon 2 success is the concept of a governance structure that guides sound decision-making along the journey of Horizon 2 opportunities, i.e. an opportunity governance roadmap. Governance is the institutional fabric required for viable opportunity decision-making, and the roadmap directs the flow of differing opportunities through the development process. We are especially pleased to have Dr. Niamh O’Reilly from as a guest presenter. Dr. O’Reilly is one of the founding members of innovation management infrastructure at the Henkel AG & Co. (Adhesives) and over the years has held various positions in Project, Program and now Portfolio Management. Henkel’s research thrives on agility and innovation that is organized and embraced in a well-documented, structured governance process for managing opportunities. She will share some insights and learnings.
