2021 Virtual Spring Networks Conference

Join fellow innovation leaders for dynamic discussions and networking! The 2021 Virtual Spring Networks Conference, March 8-11, will feature a blend of webinars and interactive roundtables exploring topics chosen by IRI members.
The following networks will hold sessions at the meeting:
  • External Technology
  • Information Services/Information Technology
  • Innovation Leaders
  • Intellectual Assets Management
  • New Business Development
  • Sustainability (new!)
Topics are categorized by network, and most networks meet for a half-day of 3-4 sessions. The External Technology Network and Innovation Leaders Network will each meet for two half-days. Only one network will convene at a time, so there will be no overlapping sessions at this conference. Attendees are welcome to attend any and all sessions that interest them, regardless of which Network is leading the topic.

IRI’s driver of best and next practices in innovation management, Research on Research (ROR), turns 50 this year.  To celebrate 50 years of groundbreaking research, we will be featuring content and testimonials from ROR’s 50 years each week.
Gender Diversity in R&D Leadership
In 2011, the increasing number of female graduates in science and engineering is not reflected in the number of women in leadership roles in R&D, engineering, and technology. To better understand this trend, the Gender Diversity ROR working group designed a survey aimed at assessing what IRI member companies were doing to encourage, promote, and retain women in S&E leadership roles in their companies, and to identify organizational best practices to do so.

The guiding principle for IRI in 2021, we will be operating as a virtual organization. We will deliver exceptional value, including networking, research, and content development and distribution virtually. To do so and to inform our community as early as possible, we have developed a calendar of events for the year. Let us know what you want to hear about as we continue to plan the content for 2021.
