Member Summit 2016 - Keynote: Strategic Challenges in R&D Talent Management

In celebration of its 75th Anniversary, the IRI launched the IRI2038 Futures Study, its largest and most expensive research project ever undertaken. The focus question for IRI2038 was, “How might future trends, developments, and events impact the art and science of research and technology management over the next 25 years?”

The IRI2038 Study identified 84 distinct past, present and future drivers of change in research and technology management. Study results yielded provocative insights, present trends and potential future trends, signals, or themes. Theresa Garcia highlights the challenges that leaders need to know to build responsive Human Capital Management strategies including: the Hollywood Model, MOOG’s, Crowdsourced Funding, Augmented Humans, the Era of Women, Cognitive Computing, Open Innovation, Innovation Ecosystems, the End of the Patent, and the intelligent, workplace Avatar. Join us for provocative discussion and  the introduction of IRI’s next strategic research platform on Human Capital Management.
