Community Forum - What is your open innovation performance?

Many companies are scaling up Open Innovation (aka partnerships, alliances, joint ventures.  Not including M&A) to drive growth.  OI that “moves the needle”, strategically or tactically, requires depth and scope well beyond simple patent in-licenses and supply chain commodity contracts.  How important is OI to your company, and how does your company structure the effort?
